Our people is a wandering people. The time we parted winds in the dense shadows: though, we left African prairies hundred thousand years ago, we waved good-bye to the slopes of Ural three thousand years ago, so that we set a homeland here in the end of the long journey (?) two thousand years ago. Of course, with each migration, we brought along something from our previous life: words, soft meet tasting like saddle, a melody, a story, and we mixed all that with the remembrances of peoples wading through us, living in peace or fighting with us, and we called that like this: Hungarian. And although we only chased the magic deer for millennia, we received this home, this language, these several miracles as a gift. As a recompense from Her. For we would never be able to overtake her.
