Viktor Spáth was born in 1984 in Hungary. After the Music Gymnasium he studied on the Liszt Ferenc Musicacademy of Budapest by Tamás Velenczei. He had Concert Tours in the most celebrated cities in Europe, SouthAmerica and Asia with higly renomated europian Orchestras and Youth Orchestras such as Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester and Europian Union Youth Orchestra.
After his Diplom in Budapest in 2008 he won a scolarship for the Herbert von Karajan Orchestra Academy of the Berlin Philharmonic. He played from 2009 till 2011 in the Staatskapelle Weimar and between 2012 and 2014 he was in the Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden on the Principal Trumpet position active.
He made numerous CD and DVD recordings with leading Orchestras and Conductors, for example Sir Simon Rattle, Christian Thielemann, Myung Whun Chung. He is working also with international new coming Orchestras (Europian Philharmonic of Switzerland) and Ensembles (Natalia Ensemble, 10for Brass) as well. In 2014 he won two of the most renomated Competitions of the Trumpet world. The International Competition Markneukirchen (Germany) in May and in November the Concorso Internazioanle di Citta di Porcia (Italy). From 2015 he is a member of the Staatskapelle Weimar. He beginns his PHD studies in October 2016 by Prof. Matthias Höfs in Hamburg.
